The modern, open plan, designer venue spans 3 levels of impressive grandeur, space and comfort. Featuring large and easy accessible bars, disability access, private areas, fully equipped sound and lighting surrounded by stylish interiors and quality fittings.

Catering for the discerning and fashion forward regular weekend clientele, our venue offers the location, facilities and style to provide for any type of event or function 7 days a week. From the corporate afternoon presentation, the Red Carpet Gala function or the major dance party theme night, Love Machine has a proven track record of being a successful venue to cater for any requirement.

The venue’s location and entrance on Little Chapel St, makes it a handy place to reach from all public transport and is just a stones throw from the vibrant and colourful Chapel Street. Entering through the over sized wooden doors, guests are greeted through the spacious reception and cloak check foyer to a choice of VIP lift access or grand red carpeted staircase to Level 2.

Once upstairs, the vast size of the venue is only matched by the exciting and detailed stylish interior. Ready to welcome you with a beverage from the bar, musical treats for your ears, and visual stimulation that is sure to impress.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY & RULES OF CONDUCT

  • Love Machine management reserves the right to refuse entry.
  • All Patrons & guests should be well dressed and presented, and meet the venue’s over 20’s standards of entry.
  • On commercial nights Love Machine operates with an even ratio of males to females.
  • Love Machine promotes responsible serving of alcohol.
  • Those intoxicated or under the influence of drugs will be refused entry or removed from the premises. This is in accordance with the laws of Liquor Licensing Victoria.
  • Upon entering the venue, patrons will uphold complete respect for others and property around them. Vandalism, abuse, harrasment or inappropriate behavour will not be tolerated.
  • Patrons who have been asked to leave the venue by a member of management or security, are obliged to do so in a quiet and respectful manner.
  • Patrons whom have been refused entry will depart in an orderly manner. Aggression; either verbal or physical, towards any member of staff or other patrons, will not be tolerated. Offenders will be identified and recordings from CCTV will be presented to the police.
  • All patrons will go through an Identification Scanning Process, to be used for security purposes only.
  • Patrons and staff will, at all times, be held accountable for their actions at the venue.

For the showman (or showgirl) in all of us, the Main Room offers a huge concert sized stage with adjacent private mirrored dressing room, while the large dance floor area gives you plenty of room to ‘shake your groove’, complete with raised performance podiums and overhead lighting. Two magnificent stainless Black Granite Bars are easily accessible on either side of the room and offer a vast selection of local and imported beverages as well as a wide range of cocktails.


If it’s a little privacy you’re looking for, we even offer a special “Rock Star” booth! Sponsors, advertisers and corporate clients can take advantage of the massive multi-media screens that are visible from all corners of the venue. A fully equipped DJ console and lighting desk offer an impressive sound and lighting experience while the interior of the room gives the patron plenty of choices for sitting, standing or wandering throughout the complex.


Lift access, male/female restrooms and refrigeration areas are also available on this level.
